Security Delivery Manager | £850/day inside IR35 | Location flexible, Wednesdays in Birmingham

A major UK organisation is running a large-scale Oracle Cloud transformation, and the security workstream needs someone to hold it together across multiple suppliers, design squads and internal delivery teams. Active SC is a hard requirement on this one.

THE ROLE

You would own the delivery of security activities across a complex multi-party programme. This is a delivery role, not an architecture role. You are not designing the controls, you are making sure they land, on time, with the right people in the room and the risks surfaced before they bite.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

  • Planning and running the security delivery workstream end to end
  • Dependency management across technology, business change, security assurance, testing and deployment
  • RAID tracking, progress reporting and timely escalation of risks and issues
  • Coordinating security activity across design squads, system integrators, third-party suppliers and internal teams
  • Reporting into programme leadership within structured delivery governance
  • Driving issue resolution and unblocking delivery teams where priorities compete
  • Translating security requirements into practical delivery actions and embedding them through the lifecycle

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

WHY THIS ONE

Security delivery managers who can genuinely hold a multi-supplier programme together are rarer than the job title suggests. Most people who apply are either architects who have never owned a plan, or delivery managers who have never owned security. If you are the overlap, this pays £850 a day for it.
