About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our AI-powered dating platform, our users, and our collaborators as we scale our operations globally. Your primary focus will be on application security, risk management, compliance, and security awareness initiatives. Given the sensitive nature of our product, which involves AI-generated content including NSFW material, your expertise will be vital in maintaining the safety and integrity of our systems and ensuring a secure experience for our users. You will work hands-on across various security domains, including application security, vulnerability management, AI-specific threat detection, and security monitoring. Reporting directly to the Security Lead, you will have ownership of security processes, participate in external audits, and implement proactive measures to mitigate emerging threats, especially those targeting generative AI models. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the security posture of a rapidly growing, category-defining AI platform dedicated to responsible innovation.

Qualifications
- Solid experience in application security, including code review and vulnerability management
- Experience coordinating or conducting security audits and penetration tests
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows and secure software development practices
- Scripting and automation skills for security processes
- Familiarity with AI and Large Language Model (LLM) security concepts such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and adversarial testing (preferred but not mandatory)
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Goal-oriented approach with a focus on execution and continuous improvement
- Willingness to work in an environment with uncensored content, including NSFW material
- Humility and openness to feedback, with a passion for learning and growth
Responsibilities
- Perform weekly code reviews to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities before deployment
- Track, prioritize, and coordinate the resolution of security issues across the technology stack
- Manage external security audits and penetration testing activities, ensuring follow-up on findings
- Maintain and enhance the company’s risk register, mapping services and assessing exposure levels
- Support audit processes and keep governance, risk, and compliance documentation current
- Communicate emerging security threats and updates to the team through documentation and company-wide alerts
- Conduct security awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations and training sessions
- Monitor security channels and alerts continuously, providing weekend coverage to ensure rapid response
- Manage IT and access controls, including device setup, provisioning, and deprovisioning
- Stay informed on AI-specific attack vectors such as prompt injection, content filter bypasses, and jailbreaks
- Track and analyze security incidents related to third-party AI providers and emerging vulnerabilities
