About the Company
Our client is a next-generation cloud security platform using runtime context and eBPF-powered sensor technology to identify and prioritise critical risks across cloud environments. Their platform spans agentless cloud posture discovery, real-time threat protection, and integrated API security... delivering comprehensive, cost-effective protection from misconfigurations to active malware defence. Backed by strong credentials and growing quickly, they are building out their UK presence and bringing deep security expertise closer to their European customer base.
The Role
This is a high-ownership, senior-level position joining an established MDR team as the founding UK member of the security organisation. You will own UK-hours coverage independently, lead complex security investigations, and act as the senior escalation point for critical incidents... all while working directly with customers to translate findings into clear, actionable guidance. The role carries real weight from day one and is structured with a clear path toward technical or team leadership as the UK function scales. It suits someone who is genuinely passionate about cloud security, comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment, and confident engaging directly with customers under pressure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
