Location: Remote, UK

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

The Company

This is a technology and resource solutions business operating across secure government, defence, and national security environments, helping organisations deliver mission-critical programmes that protect and support the UK's most important services. The business has built a strong reputation in complex, high-security settings, working where operational integrity and delivery excellence genuinely matter.

The Security Operations Centre and engineering function sits at the heart of the business, and this role has been created to set the engineering direction, standards, and quality across detection, telemetry, and automation at a senior level.

Roles & Responsibilities

As Security Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable security detection and response capabilities across the organisation, taking an engineering-led approach to detection-as-code, automation, and telemetry optimisation across cloud and endpoint platforms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
