About The Role
Regional Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join a well-established security systems company based in Leicester. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent salary package including a basic of £41,800, overtime opportunities, and a call-out allowance. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of security systems, primarily focusing on domestic properties but also including commercial and industrial sites. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality security solutions, adhering to safety standards, and providing exceptional service to clients.

This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across Leicestershire with minimal travel, utilizing company-provided resources such as a work van and power tools. Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven experience installing, servicing, and fault-finding intruder alarm systems
- Experience with CCTV, access control, intercom, and fire alarm systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- Full UK Driving License
- Must be based in or around Leicestershire
Desirable:
- Experience working on a variety of sites, including commercial and domestic properties
- IPAF certification or equivalent working at height qualification
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain a range of security systems, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
- Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to resolve system issues efficiently
- Work predominantly on domestic properties, with occasional projects on commercial and industrial sites
- Ensure all installations and services comply with relevant safety standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report on system status
- Provide professional advice and support to clients regarding system operations and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in line with health and safety regulations
- Participate in training and development activities to stay updated with the latest security technologies and practices
