About The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Engineer to join a market-leading company that specializes in providing high-quality security solutions on an international scale. The position is home-based with travel to client sites, primarily covering a local patch around London. Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess relevant experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar technical security role. A full UK driving license is essential, as the position involves field-based work and travel to client sites. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of security system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Industry certifications such as CCTV, access control, or security systems qualifications are highly desirable but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. A strong commitment to customer service and technical excellence is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain security systems including CCTV, biometric access control, and entry systems at client sites.
- Conduct regular servicing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and security integrity.
- Travel to various client locations within the designated local patch to deliver on-site support and system upgrades.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring clear communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service visits, and system configurations.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and security risks.
- Stay updated with the latest security technology trends and best practices to continually improve service delivery.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies during all field activities.
