Summary
We are supporting a leading international organization in the search for a Security Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud to join a growing cybersecurity function. This is a hands-on role focused on strengthening infrastructure and cloud security across enterprise environments, with a particular emphasis on vulnerability management, secure configuration, and cloud security operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and operational teams to identify security risks, drive remediation activities, improve security controls, and support compliance within a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support vulnerability management activities across infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and track remediation of security vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain secure configuration baselines for Azure, AWS, servers, and network services.
- Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and operational teams to improve security controls and reduce risk exposure.
- Support security reviews, risk assessments, and remediation planning for technology changes and projects.
- Contribute to asset inventory and configuration management initiatives to improve security visibility.
- Create and maintain hardening standards, operational procedures, and security playbooks.
- Collaborate with security operations and incident response teams to enhance monitoring and investigation capabilities.
- Support internal and external audits, assessments, and compliance activities.
- Work with stakeholders across IT and security teams to ensure ongoing security improvements and alignment with industry best practices.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or security engineering.
- Hands-on experience securing Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, servers, networking, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing vulnerabilities and driving remediation with technical teams.
- Experience within regulated or compliance-driven environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of security frameworks, hardening standards, and best practices.
- Security certifications and automation/scripting experience are a plus.
