About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our AI-powered dating platform, its users, and our collaborators as we continue to scale rapidly. Your primary focus will be on application security, risk management, compliance, and security awareness. Given the sensitive nature of our platform, which involves AI-generated content including NSFW material, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and safety of our systems. You will work closely with the Security Lead, taking ownership of security initiatives from day one, and actively contribute to the development of robust security protocols. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI security challenges, including emerging threats like prompt injection and content filter bypasses, in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications
- Solid experience in application security, including code review and vulnerability management
- Experience coordinating or conducting security audits and penetration tests
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows and shipping secure code
- Scripting and automation skills for security processes
- Familiarity with AI/LLM security concepts such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial testing (curiosity preferred over proven experience)
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
- Ownership mindset with a goal-oriented approach
- Comfort working with products that involve uncensored AI-generated content
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly code reviews to identify and remediate vulnerabilities prior to deployment
- Track, prioritize, and coordinate the remediation of security vulnerabilities across the technology stack
- Coordinate external security audits and penetration testing, ensuring follow-up on findings
- Maintain and develop the company’s risk register, mapping all services and assessing exposure levels
- Support audit processes and keep governance, risk, and compliance documentation current
- Communicate emerging security threats and updates to the team, fostering a security-aware culture
- Design and run security awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations and training sessions
- Monitor security channels and alerts continuously, including weekend coverage, to ensure rapid response to incidents
- Manage IT and access controls, including device provisioning, deprovisioning, and security configurations
- Stay informed about AI-specific security threats such as prompt injection and content filtering bypasses
- Track vulnerabilities and security incidents disclosed by third-party AI providers and adapt security measures accordingly
