About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our AI dating platform, our users, and our collaborators as we continue to scale our innovative offerings. You will work directly with the Security Lead to implement and maintain application security protocols, manage risk and compliance initiatives, and enhance security awareness across the organization. Your expertise will be vital in addressing AI-specific threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and content filter bypasses, especially given the sensitive nature of our content, including NSFW material. This hands-on position requires a proactive approach to security, with the opportunity to influence our security posture from day one and contribute to a safe and trustworthy environment for millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in application security, including code review and vulnerability management
  • Proven track record in conducting or coordinating penetration tests and security audits
  • Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows and secure code deployment practices
  • Scripting and automation skills for security processes
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM security concepts such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial testing (curiosity preferred over proven experience)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and commitment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing execution, planning, and strategic thinking
  • Humble attitude with a willingness to learn and accept feedback
  • Comfort working within environments involving uncensored models and content (NSFW)

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly code reviews to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities before deployment
  • Track, prioritize, and coordinate the remediation of security issues across the application stack
  • Manage external security audits and penetration tests, ensuring timely follow-up on findings
  • Maintain and update the company's risk register, mapping all services and prioritizing exposure risks
  • Support audit processes and keep GRC documentation current and comprehensive
  • Communicate emerging threats and security updates to the team through documentation and presentations
  • Conduct security awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations and training sessions
  • Oversee security monitoring channels and alerts, including weekend coverage, to ensure rapid response to incidents
  • Manage IT and access controls, including device provisioning and deprovisioning, using MDM tools
  • Monitor AI-specific attack techniques such as prompt injection and jailbreaks, staying abreast of emerging threats
  • Track security incidents and vulnerabilities disclosed by third-party AI providers and integrate findings into security protocols
