Location: Warwick / Wokingham / Corsham / Farnborough, UK
Working Model: Hybrid – predominantly remote, with occasional travel to customer sites
Duration: 6 months
Start: ASAP
Clearance: BPSS mandatory; SC Clearance required
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to take technical ownership of the customer's security infrastructure estate within a major data centre network build programme.
You will act as the senior technical point of reference for security-related projects, changes, incidents, infrastructure design, and vendor escalations.

- Own the customer's security infrastructure estate, processes, procedures, documentation, and lifecycle management.
- Act as the senior technical point of reference for security projects, changes, and firewall rule-base modifications.
- Provide technical escalation and interface with vendors for security infrastructure incidents.
- Design and support High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for customer networks.
- Provide technical support for physical and remote infrastructure changes.
- Manage security infrastructure change management activities.
- Maintain customer inventory, including hardware/software assets and End-of-Life (EOL) management.
- Support network and security infrastructure across data centre environments.

Must-Have Skills
- F5
- Zscaler
- Palo Alto
- Recent, hands-on experience with all three technologies.
- Strong enterprise network security experience.
- Firewall administration, rule-base management, and troubleshooting.
- Security infrastructure design and implementation.
- VPN technologies: IPsec, SSL VPN, and DMVPN.
- WAN technologies and routing protocols.
- Strong technical documentation and change management experience.
- Ability to operate as a senior technical escalation point.
