Security Engineer
Location: Warwick / Wokingham / Corsham / Farnborough (Hybrid – vast majority of work is expected to be remote – however there may be occasional travel)
Work Type: Contract Outside IR35
Work Model: [Hybrid / Remote]
Rate: 350 - 380 GBP/Day
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to take technical ownership of a customer’s security infrastructure and support day-to-day security operations, projects, changes, and technical escalations.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical ownership of the customer’s security infrastructure, processes, and documentation.
- Act as a senior technical point of contact for security projects, changes, and firewall modifications.
- Troubleshoot security infrastructure incidents and work with vendors when required.
- Design and support customer network solutions, including high-level and low-level designs.
- Perform and support firewall, network, and security changes.
- Manage hardware, software, inventory, and lifecycle activities including EOL.
- Support change management and technical escalations.

- Firewall and network security
- VPN technologies
- Network routing and troubleshooting
