SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support and enhance Endpoint, Microsoft 365, and email security controls within a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on role focused on strengthening security posture, improving compliance, and driving remediation efforts across workplace technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and improve endpoint security controls across corporate devices, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Support endpoint protection, EDR/XDR monitoring, vulnerability management, patching, and remediation activities.
- Administer and enhance Microsoft 365 security controls, including Conditional Access, MFA, device compliance, and identity governance.
- Maintain and optimize email security controls, including anti-phishing, anti-spoofing, and secure email gateway solutions.
- Contribute to data protection and compliance initiatives across information protection, DLP, auditing, and related security controls.
- Identify security gaps, assess risks, and drive remediation efforts with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Support governance activities including exception management, evidence collection, reporting, and control reviews.
- Produce security metrics, dashboards, and operational reporting to support continuous improvement of the security posture.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of similar or relevant experience in enterprise environments.
- Practical experience configuring, governing, or assessing endpoint and M365 security controls.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, EDR/XDR, device compliance, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with Conditional Access, MFA, identity security, and Microsoft 365 security technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Mimecast or comparable secure email gateway technology is strongly preferred.
- Experience with operational governance, exception management, evidence collection, incident/alert handover, and remediation tracking.
- Certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
