About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our AI dating platform, our users, and our collaborators as we continue to scale rapidly. Your primary focus will be on application security, risk management, compliance, and security awareness, with a special emphasis on AI-specific threats such as prompt injections and content filter bypasses. You will work closely with the Security Lead and other cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and promote a security-first culture across the organization. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to influence the security posture of a category-defining AI product from day one, ensuring the safety and integrity of our platform in an environment that handles sensitive and uncensored content.

- Solid experience in application security, including code review and vulnerability management
- Proven track record in conducting or coordinating penetration tests and security audits
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows and secure code deployment
- Scripting and automation skills for security processes
- Familiarity with AI/LLM security concepts such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial testing (curiosity preferred over experience)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English
- Ownership mindset with goal-oriented and proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing execution, planning, and strategy
- Humble learner open to feedback and continuous improvement
- Comfortable working in an environment with uncensored, NSFW AI-generated content
Responsibilities
- Perform weekly code reviews to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities before deployment
- Track, prioritize, and drive remediation efforts across the entire technology stack
- Coordinate external security audits, penetration tests, and follow up on findings to ensure resolution
- Maintain and enhance the company’s risk register, mapping all services and prioritizing exposure risks
- Support audit processes and keep governance, risk, and compliance documentation current
- Communicate emerging security threats to the team, document findings, and disseminate security updates company-wide
- Conduct phishing simulations and security training sessions to raise awareness among employees
- Monitor security channels and alerts continuously, including weekend coverage, to ensure rapid incident response
- Manage IT and access controls, including device security setup and access provisioning/deprovisioning
- Stay informed on emerging attack techniques targeting generative AI, such as prompt injections and content filter bypasses
- Track security incidents and vulnerabilities disclosed by third-party AI providers and implement necessary safeguards
