We’re working with a fast-growing Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) in London that is looking to add an experienced Security Engineer to its expanding team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has come from a Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering background and has since moved into cyber security.

You’ll work across a variety of client environments, getting hands-on with leading security technologies and helping customers strengthen, manage and protect their infrastructure.

The Role

As a Security Engineer, you’ll work across both security and infrastructure, supporting multiple customer environments and helping to implement, manage and improve their security tooling.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working hands-on with Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Sentinel
  • Managing and improving endpoint security across customer environments
  • Configuring and optimising EDR/XDR and SIEM solutions
  • Investigating security incidents, alerts and suspicious activity
  • Supporting vulnerability management, remediation and security hardening
  • Troubleshooting security issues across Windows and Microsoft environments
  • Working closely with customers to understand and resolve security challenges
  • Helping improve security processes, tooling and automation
  • Supporting the continued development of the MSSP's security services

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
