About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Engineer to join our client's team, covering Hampshire and surrounding areas. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced security systems professional to work with a well-established company that specializes in designing, installing, and maintaining advanced security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms, and will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of security systems across diverse client sites. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Security Engineer, ideally within a similar environment
- Proven expertise in CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot complex security issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients
- Full UK driving license to facilitate travel across Hampshire and surrounding areas
- Relevant manufacturer certifications or experience would be advantageous
- A professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work
Responsibilities
The Security Engineer will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Servicing, maintaining, and fault finding on various security systems to ensure optimal performance
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
- Diagnosing system faults accurately and implementing effective solutions
- Carrying out installations and small-scale projects as required by clients
- Providing professional and courteous service directly to customers at their premises
- Completing detailed service reports, documentation, and compliance records
- Traveling across Hampshire and surrounding areas to deliver timely and effective service
