Security Governance Analyst

💰 £400–£450 per day – Inside IR35
📅 Initial contract until end of December – likely to extend
🏦 Banking / Financial Services

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Security Governance Analyst to join the CISO function of a leading UK banking organisation.

This is an opportunity to work within a team of security professionals focused on strengthening the organisation’s cyber resilience, managing cyber risk and ensuring effective security governance across a complex and highly regulated environment.

The Role

As a Security Governance Analyst, you’ll play an important role in identifying, managing and reporting cyber security risks across the organisation.

Working closely with the CISO function and wider business, you’ll help ensure cyber risks are appropriately assessed, treated and communicated, while supporting security standards, policies and risk appetite across the organisation.

You’ll also play a key role in ensuring security controls remain effective and fit for purpose, managing risk issues through to resolution and supporting regulatory reporting requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
