Security Guard – Bury, Manchester
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Pay Rate: £14.62 per hour
Job Type: Long-Term Opportunity
We are currently recruiting an experienced and professional Security Guard to join a major project based in Bury, Manchester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring site activity, controlling access, and ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and securing the site
- Controlling access and checking all personnel and visitors
- Carrying out regular patrols and security checks
- Reporting any incidents, suspicious activity, or security concerns
- Maintaining accurate site and security records
- Following all site health, safety, and security procedures
- Representing the company in a professional manner at all times

Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold the following:
- A valid Door Supervisor SIA License, obtained at least three months prior to the site start date
- First Aid at Work qualification

We will provide the following training:
- EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
- EUSR SHEA Water qualification
- A valid DBS check, obtained within one week prior to starting on site and renewed every 6 months
- Willingness to complete the required Project Induction, including a Drug & Alcohol test
- Training in GDPR regulations
- Defibrillator training
