What You Can Expect:
Fixed Term Contract until Friday 18th December 2026 Core Shift Pattern: Nuneaton, 14:00 - 22:00, 4 days a week (30 hours)
You will be required to be flexible to cover the below shift patterns:
- Nuneaton, 06:00 to 14:00
- Nuneaton, 18:00 to 06:00
- Nuneaton, 06:00 to 18:00
- Magna Park, 05:30 to 14:00
- Magna Park, 13:45 to 22:15
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the physical security of the site – (Perimeter/Internal fencing/Boundaries, Gates, Barriers etc.)
- Prevention of unauthorised access to site (Vehicles, persons)
- Regular reporting of incidents and potential threats/ potential weaknesses.
- Escalating and relaying any incidents and emergencies to the relevant management teams.
- Provide support to the Operations Team to ensure protection of Assets, equipment, and stock.
- Maintain good relationships with key departments: Onsite operations, Facilities, IT and HR
- Maintain regular and effective communication with all team members, including other departments within the business.
- Work alongside the Health and Safety department, ensuring the welfare of yourself and employees.
- Provide suggestions to the Security Manager for new and improved services.
- Promote the importance of maintaining security throughout the business.
- Always provide a professional Security service.
- Booking vehicles in/out of site and directing to correct departments.
- Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
- Ensuring all contractors and visitors are signed in correctly.
- Ensure daily activities at all sites are completed fully and that procedures are being adhered to – this includes updates of daily logs, patrols, searches.
- Responsibilities of ensuring all keys are accounted for, maintaining a key log as appropriate.
- Responsible for the functionality of the security equipment (Locks, Access Points, hand-held/Body Scanners etc.)
- Implement and maintain appropriate policies and procedures and training guidance.
- The locking/Unlocking of Sites as required.
- On-call escalation to support customer, staff, site security and compliance requirements.
- Monitoring of activated alarms; CCTV, Fire, Intruder, Duress,
- Monitor Access Control via the Net2 Access system. Report and escalate any faults or alarms.
- Staff searches.
- Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide visible high profile security presence.
- General administration duties
- Ensure all incidents are reported by the Security team and escalated in a timely manner.
- Any other duties as required.

- Security of the Sites are maintained.
- Response times – Incidents, investigations

Knowledge & Skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Level 2 SIA Door Supervisor / Security Guard License
- IT skills, including Word / Excel
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Great communicator
- Positive attitude & drive
- Ability to think through problems for logical solutions and always remain calm and professional
What You Bring:
The role requires the candidate to have a high standard of:
- IT Skills
- Customer Service experience in a generalist role
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience within the Security Industry – (1 year preferable)
