Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced CalCom Hardening Suite SME / Security Hardening Specialist to support a six-week Proof of Value (PoV) focused on server hardening, security compliance, remediation, and continuous monitoring across Windows and Linux environments.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the technical deployment, configuration, testing, and validation of the CalCom Hardening Suite. They will demonstrate the platform's capabilities through practical use cases and support a technical comparison with the client's existing Qualys and BMC TrueSight tooling.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise in CalCom, Windows/Linux hardening, CIS Benchmarks, compliance monitoring, automated remediation, and enterprise security controls, combined with strong customer-facing and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure CalCom Hardening Suite, including required agents, across Windows and Linux servers.
- Configure and tailor CIS Benchmark-aligned hardening policies based on client requirements.
- Demonstrate CalCom Learn, Enforce, and Monitoring modes.
- Configure and demonstrate automated remediation and rollback capabilities.
- Validate hardening changes and ensure they can be safely applied, tested, and reversed.
- Assess CalCom compatibility across agreed Windows and Linux server platforms.
- Configure compliance monitoring, dashboards, and reporting.
- Identify technical dependencies, constraints, risks, and operational considerations.
- Capture PoV evidence, test results, findings, limitations, and lessons learned.
- Support technical comparison of CalCom, Qualys, and BMC TrueSight capabilities.
- Contribute technical findings and recommendations to the final PoV report.
- Work closely with client SMEs and the CalCom vendor to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, technical challenges, and outcomes.
- Ensure all changes follow appropriate enterprise change-control and operational-risk processes.

Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on CalCom Hardening Suite experience – Mandatory.
- Proven experience deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and demonstrating CalCom Hardening Suite.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server hardening.
- Strong knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and security configuration standards.
- Experience with automated remediation, rollback, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
