DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

You will be working in the Building Services OU, based in MoD Main Building, Whitehall in where we are responsible for providing Facilities management at critical Ministry of Defence sites, delivering 24/7 assured services, complex logistics and engineering projects, plus capital works and lifecycle renewals in highly secure environments.

We are currently looking for a Security Information Controller who will operate security-governed systems and processes, ensuring that sensitive information and drawings are issued, tracked, recovered and retained in line with Government security requirements and Skanska policy.
As the Security Information Controller, you will:
- Operate the drawing room function, treating all contractor drawings as controlled security items.
- Maintain a controlled drawing register, with unique numbering, version control and custody records.
- Administer approved secure platforms and systems used for document storage, collaboration and record-keeping.
- Apply and maintain strict access controls on a need-to-know and least-privilege basis.
- Undertake UKSV Sponsor User activities, including initiation, processing, monitoring and renewal of BPSS, SC and DV clearances (as applicable).
- Maintain accurate, auditable vetting records, trackers and renewal schedules.

We are looking for:
- Experience in security administration, information control, document control or vetting support within a secure or regulated environment.
- Practical experience supporting UKSV vetting processes and handling sensitive personal data.
- Strong understanding of secure information handling, access control and record-keeping.
- Exceptional attention to detail, discretion and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to clearly communicate and handle sensitive issues with discretion and integrity.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Planner, Loop, To Do, PowerPoint, etc) and other relevant software.
- Ability to hold and maintain UK Security Clearance - minimum 10 years UK residency required.
