About the role

Operating across IAG Cargo’s global network of insourced and outsourced operations, the Security Manager is responsible for providing strategic oversight of the global aviation security landscape, ensuring IAG Cargo maintains compliance with evolving regulatory requirements while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks across the network.

The role will act as a key interface between regulatory developments and operational delivery, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable frameworks, and leading a small team to deliver consistent security compliance, performance insight, and assurance across a global operation.

What you’ll do

Global Regulatory Insight & Strategy

  • Maintain ongoing oversight of the global aviation security regulatory landscape, identifying emerging requirements, risks, and opportunities.
  • Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and operating companies to influence and shape future regulatory developments where possible.
  • Translate regulatory change into clear, actionable guidance for operational teams.
  • Provide insight to senior stakeholders on regulatory risk exposure and strategic implications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
