- 8-hour shifts, working Monday to Friday
- Weekly shift rotation of 07:00 - 15:00, 10:00 - 18:00 and 14:00 - 22:00

The Opportunity
Our client is a dynamic and professional working environment within a leading biotechnology company based in the exceptional surroundings of Granta Park. As a world-renowned centre for scientific innovation and discovery, the site is home to cutting-edge research, international collaboration, and a diverse community.
The role of Security Manager is highly respected and will form an integral part of the site's leadership team, responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across this prestigious corporate site. This is a visible and influential position that requires a proactive leader capable of delivering outstanding security services while fostering strong working relationships with the client, colleagues, and external partners.

Your duties include (but are not limited to):
- Managing the day-to-day security operation across the client site
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the onsite security team, ensuring professional standards and compliance requirements are met
- Conducting regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Managing access control systems, CCTV operations, and security technologies
- Developing and implementing site security procedures
- Liaising closely with the client, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Managing staff rotas, attendance, performance reviews, and training requirements
- Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure environment
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies, site instructions, and relevant legislation
Full in-house training will be provided.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- Previous experience in a Security Supervisor, Security Manager, or similar leadership role
- Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
- Punctual and reliable
- Passionate about creating an exceptional customer experience
- Knowledge of the MS packages (excel, word, outlook)
- Highly intuitive with a curious mindset
- Highly presentable in line with our corporate brand
- Resilient and proactive in your work
