Hours: 5 days a week, 08:00 - 18:00
Pay: £56,862 pa
We are seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to lead and develop a professional security team delivering a 24/7, 365-day operation. You will be responsible for ensuring contractual compliance, maintaining exceptional service standards, and protecting the client's people, assets, reputation, and environment while building strong stakeholder relationships.
About The Role
- Lead, manage, and support a team of security personnel delivering a 24/7 security operation.
- Ensure all site staffing levels are maintained in line with contractual requirements.
- Maintain and review site documentation, including Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Oversee employee records relating to attendance, sickness, leave, payroll, and compliance audits.
- Ensure the safety and security of the client's people, assets, environment, and reputation.
- Manage staff training, development, succession planning, and site competency standards.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and prepare and present regular client performance reviews.
- Act as Incident Controller during emergencies and lead fire evacuation drills and exercises.
- Build strong relationships with occupiers, neighbouring businesses, law enforcement agencies, and intelligence partners.
- Manage site security systems, business continuity processes, reporting requirements, and security-related events.

What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience managing security teams within a corporate or commercial environment.
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
- Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
- Current First Aid at Work qualification.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear reports.
- Good IT skills, including experience using workforce management and reporting systems.
- Experience managing KPIs, service delivery standards, and operational compliance.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain professional stakeholder relationships.
Desirable
- Experience working with intelligence networks, law enforcement agencies, or business resilience programmes.
- Experience managing ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems.
- Experience planning and delivering security awareness events or engagement activities.
