Security Manager / Security Co-ordinator
Salary: £41,700
Location: Basildon, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
As part of the security management team this role plays an integral part in the co-ordination and delivery of on-site security services and associated projects. Your role will combine operational leadership, project support, compliance and contractor/supplier management.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- We are looking for a security professional with strong administration and co-ordination skills. You could be a security manager looking for a new role or have relevant military/Police experience.
- Positive and professional attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proactive with the ability to identify process improvement and implement any changes.
- Strong administration and IT skills
- Have the ability to achieve SC clearance

Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the operational delivery of security across the estate.
- Oversee the delivery of security systems including management of 3rd party providers
- Co-ordinate the delivery of special projects
- Help to create and maintain security culture in line with UK Government Security requirements
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK Government Security Policy Frameworks
- Maintenance of all security procedures and implementation of policies
- Ensure that contract SLA’s and KPI’s are met and exceeded
- Assist with the long-term strategic planning of the security function
- Monitor the 3rd party supplier provision of security services including manned guarding and security system maintenance
- Support all awareness, education and training related to security
- Provide data and reporting on all security activities
