Job Description
Pay: £14.56 per hour
Hours: 12 hours per week
Shift pattern: Days, nights and weekends
Location: Great Baddow
Overtime: May be available but is not guaranteed
We are looking for a professional, reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile site in Great Baddow.
You will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring the site, carrying out patrols, managing access and responding appropriately to incidents. You will also act as a professional first point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors.

Key Duties
- Carry out internal and external patrols
- Monitor access to the site
- Respond to alarms, incidents and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate security records
- Assist visitors, contractors and staff professionally
- Follow site security, access-control and confidentiality procedures
Qualifications
✅ Essential
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills with the ability to complete accurate reports
- A professional, customer-focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
Additional Information
Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires you to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC). To be eligible you must:
- Have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years
- Be able to provide a full five-year employment, education or activity history
- Successfully complete the required vetting and background checks
