Mitie Retail Elite Security Officer Opportunity
Mitie has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Elite Security Officer to join the Total Security Management Team.
About the Role
Retail Elite Security Officers must be available to cover various shift patterns and be flexible in their approach to working locations and potential changes to working patterns.

Main Duties
- Protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse.
- Provide a highly visible security presence.
- Proactively deter and prevent anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.
- Liaise with store management, Police, and other external agencies.
- Utilize conflict resolution to diffuse difficult situations.
- Ensure behaviours and situations that endanger health and safety are identified and rectified in line with company policies.

What We Are Looking For
- Team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Retail Security experience.
- Proficiency in ASCONE and SAFER Approaches.
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to work with different teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable in the use of technology.
- Ability to identify triggers to conflict and excellent mediation skills.
- High ethical standards.
- Conflict resolution trained.
- Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential, CCTV Licence beneficial.
- Full UK Driving licence beneficial.
- Ability to maximize the use of BWCCTV during confrontational situations.
