Purpose of the Role

To form part of the core security team for Brewery Square to support the smooth running of the site. Maintaining the integrity of the site out of hours. Conducting foot patrols, monitoring CCTV, proactive reporting. Assist with any emergency situation that occur. To support the centre manager with any adhoc tasks as and when required. Handle any enquiries and customer service requirements from the client/tenants and public. To prevent and deter any would-be criminality.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment
  • To undertake patrols of the buildings in line with the assignment instructions
  • Lead on meter readings on behalf of tenants
  • To be the first point of contact for any visitors or staff when they attend site throughout your shift
  • To manage the car park access and egress
  • To carry out any other duties in accordance with instructions issued by the security manager, client, or RFM
  • To fully comply and enforce the Health and Safety policy on site
  • Ensure that all incidents are recorded in the daily occurrence log and escalated accordingly with all relevant incident reports completed
  • Ensure good levels of customer service
  • To take a proactive approach in regard to the day-to-day ongoings of site, including but not limited to, contractor management, defect reporting, checks of the site & general reporting.
  • To be aware of and abide by all rules, terms, and conditions of the company

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Qualifications and experience:

Essential:

  • Good English written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of integrity
  • 5-year checkable employment record
  • Valid and Active SIA Licence – Security Guarding or Door Supervisor
  • First Aid Qualified

Desirable:

  • CCTV SIA licence
  • Front-line security experience

Working hours - 48 hrs per week / Salary £13.50 p/h
