Role Description
The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Belfast. The Security Officer is responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting regular security patrols, and responding to alarms or incidents in a calm and professional manner. Daily tasks include:

- Observing CCTV systems
- Completing incident and activity reports
- Liaising with clients, visitors, and emergency services when required

The role also involves ensuring that security procedures are followed, reporting safety hazards, and supporting the protection of company assets and client property. The Security Officer is expected to maintain a high level of visibility, uphold company standards, and provide a safe and secure environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and ability to remain alert over extended periods.
- Effective communication skills, including clear report writing and professional interaction with clients, colleagues, and the public.
- Experience with security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring, or willingness to learn these technologies.
- Ability to follow established procedures, adhere to safety and security protocols, and respond appropriately to incidents.
- Good physical fitness and capacity to perform regular patrols, stand for extended periods, and manage emergency situations when needed.
- Previous experience in a security or protective services role is an asset, but candidates with transferable skills are welcome.
- Relevant security certification or license (where legally required) and eligibility to work on-site in Belfast.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and professional conduct in all aspects of work.
