Shift Pattern:
- 56.25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 18:15
About The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join the team at BCA Peterborough. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a professional and reliable individual who is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, visitors, staff, and site assets.
Working as part of the security team, you will play a key role in protecting the site, controlling access, and ensuring security procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Unlocking and securing the site at the start and end of each day
- Monitoring CCTV systems and conducting security checks
- Controlling access to and from the site
- Ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and vehicles
- Responding to incidents and reporting security concerns appropriately
- Maintaining accurate records, logs, and incident reports
- Providing excellent customer service to visitors and contractors
- Adhering to all site security procedures and company policies
Requirements
Essential
- Valid SIA Security Licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain vigilant and professional in a busy environment
- Good report-writing and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
