We’re Hiring: Security Officer

📍 Location: Bristol, BS16 1EJ

💰 Pay: £13.61

📅 Hours: 4-on, 4-off shift pattern averaging 42 hours per week, including days, nights, and weekends (07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00).

We are seeking professional and motivated Security Officers to join our team at a prestigious corporate office in BS16, Bristol. The successful Security Officer will work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern covering days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Before You Apply

This role has the following mandatory requirements:

  • You must have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
  • You must be eligible to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) and SC (Security Check) Clearance.
  • You must hold a valid UK passport.
  • You must hold a valid SIA Licence.

Responsibilities

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Monitoring access control, CCTV, and security systems.
  • Conducting regular security patrols.
  • Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
  • Responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Supporting evacuations and security procedures.
  • Completing accurate reports and records.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ensuring compliance with site policies and regulations.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Valid SIA Licence.
  • Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment, education, or address history.
  • Hold a valid UK passport.
  • Have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
  • Eligible to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) and SC (Security Check) Clearance.
  • Willing to undergo security screening and background checks.
  • British nationality required due to site security clearance requirements.
