Role Description
The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Liverpool. The Security Officer will monitor premises, control access points, and conduct regular patrols to deter and detect unauthorized activity.

Responsibilities

- Responding to incidents and alarms
- Completing security logs and reports
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients to uphold safety and security standards
- Checking CCTV where applicable
- Supporting emergency procedures
- Ensuring that all security operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations
The Security Officer is expected to represent X INFINITY GROUP professionally and maintain a courteous, service-focused approach to all building occupants and visitors.
Qualifications
- Strong situational awareness and risk assessment skills, with the ability to identify and respond to security threats effectively.
- Must have valid SIA badge.
- Ability to follow security protocols, emergency procedures, and health and safety guidelines with consistency and attention to detail.
- Clear, confident communication skills, including the ability to write concise incident reports and liaise professionally with clients, colleagues, and law enforcement when required.
- Proven reliability, integrity, and professionalism, with the capacity to remain calm under pressure and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Basic IT and CCTV monitoring skills, and comfort using electronic access control systems and reporting tools.
- Prior experience in security, facilities, or a related field is highly beneficial; experience within a multi-service or corporate environment is an advantage.
- Relevant security certifications or licenses (such as SIA or equivalent), and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by site operations.
