THE TEAM

At Rosewood London, our Security team plays a crucial role in creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, associates, visitors, and partners across the hotel. Reporting to the Cluster Director of Security and Security Manager, the team works closely with operational departments to deliver a highly visible and proactive security presence while supporting the highest standards of guest service and associate wellbeing.

YOUR ROLE

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security and safety procedures throughout the hotel. You will monitor premises, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, support emergency procedures, and contribute to a culture of safety and wellbeing for everyone on property.

This role offers an attractive shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, comprising 2 morning shifts followed by 2 night shifts, giving you four consecutive days off and supporting an excellent work-life balance.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Conduct regular security patrols throughout the hotel.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems.
  • Respond to security incidents, emergency situations, fire alarms, and guest assistance requests.
  • Investigate and report security, safety, and loss prevention incidents.
  • Complete safety inspections and identify potential risks.
  • Support first aid and emergency response activities.
  • Maintain accurate security, incident, and lost property records.
  • Promote compliance with health, safety, fire, and security procedures across the hotel.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You hold a valid SIA licence.
  • You have experience working within a security, safety, or loss prevention environment.
  • You demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure situations.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and strong situational awareness.
  • You are proactive, reliable, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.
  • You are flexible and able to work both day and night shifts.
  • You hold a First Aid qualification or are willing to undertake training.
