Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Security Officer role based in London. The Security Officer will monitor premises, patrol assigned areas, and ensure that access control procedures are followed at all times. Responsibilities include:

- Observing and reporting security incidents
- Responding to alarms and emergencies
- Completing accurate incident and shift reports

The role involves:
- Operating surveillance systems
- Conducting safety checks
- Interacting professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to uphold a secure and welcoming environment
The Security Officer will collaborate with other security staff and follow company protocols and legal requirements to maintain a safe workplace and public space.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Strong observation, situational awareness, and risk assessment skills to identify and respond to potential security threats.
- Competence in access control, patrolling procedures, and incident reporting within commercial or public environments.
- Ability to operate CCTV, surveillance systems, and other security technologies in line with company and legal standards.
- Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with clients, visitors, and colleagues, including de-escalation and conflict management.
- Proven reliability, integrity, and ability to follow detailed security protocols while working independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant security training or certification (such as SIA or equivalent), with prior experience in a security, law enforcement, or military role considered an advantage.
- Good physical fitness and readiness to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and basic first aid skills are beneficial.
