Role Overview
The Royal Albert Hall Security Team plays an essential role in the Hall’s daily operations and is integral to the Hall’s security strategy, which focuses on the safety and well-being of the millions of patrons welcomed each year.
We are seeking an experienced and professional Security Officer with a proven track record of operating effectively in busy Control Rooms and fast-paced reception areas to join our expanding Security Department.
In this role, you will be expected to utilise the latest security systems for the purpose of creating and maintaining a safe environment for all our customers and staff. You will demonstrate your experience in the security industry by covering the Building Control Room, Stage Door and the Loading Bay.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the latest security systems for creating and maintaining a safe environment.
- Cover the Building Control Room, Stage Door, and the Loading Bay.
Shift Pattern
The post holder will be required to work a rotating shift pattern of four days on and four days off, comprising two-day shifts followed by two-night shifts. Day shifts are scheduled from 06:30 to 18:30, and night shifts from 18:30 to 06:30.
