Shopping Centre Security Officer (Support Role) - Cockhedge Shopping Centre
Location: Cockhedge Shopping Centre, WA1 2QH
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week, Monday - Sunday
06:30 - 14:30
14:30 - 22:30
Role Type: Permanent Support Role
About The Role
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Cockhedge Shopping Centre, Warrington. This is a support position providing weekend cover, holiday cover, and sickness cover across the site.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the shopping centre, its retailers, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Opening up and securing the shopping centre.
- Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to incidents.
- Conducting regular patrols throughout the centre.
- Assisting retailers with security-related issues and queries.
- Supporting members of the public and providing excellent customer service.
- Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Maintaining accurate incident and patrol records.
- Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment at all times.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
- Valid SIA CCTV Licence (essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous security experience in a retail or shopping centre environment is desirable.
