Retail Security Officer - Tesco Narborough Partnership
Location: Tesco Narborough, LE3 5NJ
Pay: £13.72 per hour
Hours: Average 32 to 48 hours per week
Contract: Flexible (5 days out of 7)
Shifts: 8 to 10-hour shifts scheduled between 06:00 and 00:00, Monday to Sunday
About The Role
Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is looking for professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our Retail Security team at Tesco Narborough.
This flexible role offers regular hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work within one of the UK's largest retail environments. As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting customers, colleagues, and company assets while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
- Act as a visible deterrent against theft, anti-social behaviour, and criminal activity
- Conduct regular store patrols and security checks
- Respond professionally to incidents and security concerns
- Support loss prevention initiatives and stock protection measures
- Complete accurate reports and maintain incident records
- Liaise effectively with Tesco management and store colleagues
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence

What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- Own transport required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, confident, and reliable approach
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- Good attention to detail
- Full flexibility to work shifts between 06:00 and 00:00, including weekends
- Full 5-year checkable employment history
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential

Additional Information
- A full five-year checkable employment history is required.
- Own transport is essential for this role.
- Shifts are allocated on a flexible rota covering five days out of seven, Monday to Sunday.
- Successful candidates must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence before commencing employment.
