Security Officer – Luxury Retail
Mayfair, Central London
£17.00 per hour PAYE | 4 on / 4 off | 07:30–19:30
Assist Security Group is looking for an experienced and highly professional Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious luxury retail destination in the heart of Mayfair.
This is a high profile environment where security, customer service and professionalism are equally important. We are looking for an experienced officer who is confident, polished and approachable, with the ability to deliver exceptional standards of service while maintaining a strong security presence. You will play an important role in creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment for visitors, retailers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, visible and proactive security presence
- Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors and retailers
- Conduct regular patrols and identify potential security or safety concerns
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Support access control and site security procedures
- Liaise effectively with retailers, colleagues and management
- Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation
- Maintain high standards of professionalism throughout every shift

What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence – essential
- Previous security experience – essential
- Previous experience within a luxury, premium or high end environment – essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A confident, polished and professional manner
- High standards of personal presentation
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Calm and measured when dealing with challenging situations
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a role that can involve long periods of standing and patrolling
