This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a safe and secure environment and enjoys working within a busy and complex operational setting.

As part of our professional security team, you will play an important role in protecting employees, contractors, visitors and the wider site. You will help ensure that security procedures, access controls and safety measures are consistently maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing access control at gatehouses and security checkpoints
  • Verifying identification, permits and vehicle documentation before allowing site entry
  • Conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols across the site to identify and report safety hazards, security risks and unauthorised activity
  • Monitoring CCTV systems and responding promptly and professionally to incidents and alarms
  • Supporting emergency response procedures, including evacuations and incident management
  • Ensuring compliance with security regulations, health and safety requirements and site procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents, accidents, near misses and daily security activities
  • Supporting the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, deliveries, contractors and visitors throughout the site
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, unsafe practices and potential risks to the appropriate teams
  • Providing a professional, visible and reassuring security presence
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience to employees, visitors, contractors and clients

Essential Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A valid SIA Licence
  • Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
  • A strong commitment to safety, security and wellbeing
  • Excellent observation and hazard-awareness skills
  • A professional, punctual and reliable approach
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • An intuitive and curious mindset
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • The resilience to work effectively within a busy operational environment
  • A full UK Driving Licence is preferred
