Hours: 08:00 - 18:00 (10 hours per day, 50 hours per week)
Pay: £14.80 per hour
Role:
Working within this Central London building in a prestigious environment in the City, your primary role is to ensure the security of people, premises, and property while protecting the reputation of the client and tenants at all times.
You will support the delivery of a truly exceptional customer journey for both staff and visitors. To achieve this, you will become well-versed in the processes and practices of a security professional. Excellence in customer service will be at the heart of the role, and you will be part of a well-drilled security operation.
To ensure synergy across our service providers, we work with a "one team" approach to successfully deliver an excellent customer journey. In this role, you will work closely with construction staff, cleaning teams, maintenance teams, and on-site management in order to provide an environment that is welcoming and relaxed, yet safe and secure at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors.
- Take an active interest in, and demonstrate commitment to, the client and tenants.
- Ensure that the environment and service are truly excellent and exceed expectations.
- Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks and challenges.
- Be accountable and take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocated.
- Escalate building faults to the helpdesk.
- Ensure all contact, whether internal or external, by telephone, face-to-face, or any other medium, is clear, courteous, polite, professional, and respectful.
- Ensure complete confidentiality for clients, tenants, and other service providers; protecting people and information is paramount.
- Use CCTV, access control systems, and any other electronic management systems appropriately, completing reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Be familiar with all security and emergency procedures on site and assist in their safe execution and practice. There may also be a requirement to become a Fire Marshal; training will be provided.
- Complete rostered duties and all associated tasks and responsibilities to the highest possible standard.
- Complete any other reasonable tasks as instructed by the on-site management team or a Senior Manager, either from UniTrust or at the request of the client and/or tenants.
- Support internal and external audit processes involving UniTrust Security representatives, client and tenant representatives, the SIA, and any other relevant body with a legitimate interest and valid reason for inspection or compliance checks.
- Patrol the property when required.
- Act with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner.
- Remain resilient when working in sensitive environments, dealing with conflict respectfully and empathetically at all times.
- Be prepared to manage a wide variety of scenarios, people, and challenges.
- Act in accordance with Company Policies, Procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
