We’re Hiring: Security Officer
📍 Location: Nelson, UK
💰 Pay: £13.45 per hour (50 hr per week)
📅 Hours: (Saturday - Sunday, 6PM-6AM) & (Thursday - Friday, 5PM to 6AM)

Job Description
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity. Your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone
- Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe
- Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
- Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy
Qualifications
- A valid SIA licence & Security experience.
- Physically fit for patrolling of site.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
