- Shift Pattern: Nights (18:00 - 06:00) - 4 days on 4 days off
We are seeking a dependable, committed, and enthusiastic security officer to become a part of our highly skilled in-house security team.
The primary responsibility of the security officer is to ensure the safety and protection of people, premises, and property. This role involves working closely with the Crisis Management team to provide essential real-time monitoring and management of the Quilter estate.

As the first line of response to incidents, security officers must remain vigilant and prepared to respond to any situation, wherever it may occur.
The role includes but is in no ways limited to:
- 24/7 monitoring and management of the CCTV system across the Quilter Estate.
- 24/7 monitoring and management of the Quilter access control system.
- 24/7 monitoring and management of life safety systems.
- Regular building patrols.
- Reception duties.
- Alarm response.
- Visitor and contractor management.
- Defect detection.
- Report writing.
- Management of deliveries.
- Management of a functional mailbox.
- Emergency response and management.
- Conflict management.
About You
What we are looking for
- Confident with the use of computer including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Confident in the use of CCTV and access control systems.
- Confident in the writing of reports.
- Your experience will enable you to deal with conflict in a calm and managed way.
- Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities.
- Excellent communication and awareness skills.
As an In-house security function an SIA licence is not required for this position.
