Who are we looking for?
To provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and Corps Security’s policies and procedures.
Security Officers at Channel 4 work in a range of environments and positions to meet contractual expectation of the client. Security Officers ensure that they offer innovative services to the client, which positively contribute to providing a safe environment for customers, visitors, contractors, and colleagues.
You will be working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4on4off rotation. Shifts will be days only from 07:00 - 19:00.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor License - essential
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What Are You Going To Do
- Access Control for staff, contractors and visitors
- Calmly and confidently resolve demands from visitor/members of public
- Proactively liaising with staff, visitors and contractors
- To respond to all incidents and follow escalation procedures
- Deliver clear and concise incident reports
- Attendance of first aid incidents/any other form of incidents as required
- To have a thorough knowledge of routine and emergency procedures and be able to respond efficiently, and appropriately, to any eventuality
- To be aware of Hostile Reconnaissance techniques that may be employed against Channel 4 building/s or occupants therein and to be vigilant at all times
- Operate a safe working environment in line with company risk assessments and assignment instructions
- Maintain all required records as directed by line management
- Obtain assistance by sounding alarms / radio communication
- Collaboratively working with colleagues to ensure delivery of service expectations of Channel 4
- Any other security duties directed by the business or client that falls within your level of training and licensing
- Understanding the principle of equality and diversity in relations to visitor’s needs
