What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Security Duty Manager, you will:
- Provide 24/7 security coverage of Goodwood House and associated buildings
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence
- Monitor CCTV systems and manage communications from the Control Room
- Support estate-wide operations, including major events and emergency planning
- Uphold Goodwood’s values and maintain the highest standards of conduct

This is a permanent, full-time position working a 42-hour average week on a rotating pattern of two days, two nights, followed by four days off.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
- Prior experience in a Professional Security role (preferred)
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- SIA Close Protection Licence (preferred)
- SIA CCTV Operator Licence (essential)
- A First Aid at Work certificate or equivalent level (essential)
- Full (clean) Manual driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication, conflict management, and organisational skills
- A calm, proactive, and adaptable approach – especially under pressure
- A passion for delivering exceptional service with integrity and discretion
