📅 Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days, Nights & Weekends)

Job Description
Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will provide a professional security service in line with client requirements, protecting employees, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service. The Security Officer will be responsible for gatehouse duties, including booking in deliveries, staff, and visitors, and must demonstrate strong communication skills at all times. This Security Officer role requires flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends. Candidates must hold a valid SIA licence before commencing operational shifts.
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers.
- Conducting regular security patrols and monitoring site access to protect people, property, and assets.
- Managing gatehouse operations, visitor bookings, and access control procedures.
- Monitoring CCTV, alarms, and security equipment, responding to incidents as required.
- Supporting health and safety procedures, emergency evacuations, and site searches.
- Preventing crime, loss, damage, and disruption through proactive vigilance.
- Completing accurate reports, incident logs, records, and shift handovers.
- Ensuring compliance with site regulations, security procedures, and customer requirements.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A valid SIA licence.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in a gatehouse environment, managing visitor, staff, and delivery access.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
- The right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment history.
- A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
