About The Lowndes
The Lowndes is a boutique hotel located in Belgravia, one of London’s most exclusive neighbourhoods. The contemporary retreat is located just moments away from key attractions including Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. Guests have complimentary access to all facilities at the nearby Jumeirah Carlton Tower, including the health club and spa.
About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join us at The Lowndes.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Conduct regular foot patrols to maintain a visible security presence.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report any unusual or suspicious activities.
- Control access to designated areas, ensuring compliance with identification and verification protocols.
- Assist in key distribution and maintain accountability for key management.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, following company procedures and liaising with emergency services when required.
- Provide support in fire, life, and safety matters, escalating concerns to the appropriate team leaders.

About You
We’re looking for a dependable and observant individual with a proactive approach to security and service. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a security or service-oriented role.
- Higher secondary education as a minimum qualification.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Intermediate level).
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
