Join Our Team as a Security Officer!

The Shetland Bench Team will provide cover across two sites.

You will be responsible for providing support to these sites, you will keep a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism through adherence to directions from the security management team. You will provide a visible preventative security presence by providing access control, asset protection and area patrols as required whilst maintaining the security requirements of sites.

About The Role

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner towards the public, the client, and colleagues.
  • Make patrols and report in by means of radio or other devices.
  • Prevent the admittance to the premises of unauthorised persons.
  • Report faults that may lead to property damage.
  • Remain alert and vigilant to activity on the site to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action, end to end investigation and reporting.

What We Are Looking For

  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Basic IT Skills.
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
  • Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
