Retail Security Flexi Officer – Tesco Partnership

Location: Tesco Hull, HU2 8LN

Pay: £13.47 per hour / Weekly Pay (every Friday)

Hours: 0–50 hours per week (Flexi Contract)

Shifts: Monday–Sunday, including weekends

  • 10:00–16:00
  • 14:00–23:00
  • 15:00–23:00

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence
  • Own transport essential

About The Role

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is looking for professional, flexible, and customer-focused Retail Security Officers to join our team on a temporary flexi contract in Hull.

This role is ideal for individuals who can provide a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service in a busy retail environment. You will support store operations, help create a safe shopping experience, and respond confidently to incidents as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a professional and customer-focused security presence within store
  • Assisting customers with enquiries and offering exceptional service
  • Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security risks
  • Monitoring CCTV systems and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Conducting regular store patrols to maintain a safe environment
  • Responding to incidents calmly and professionally
  • Completing accurate incident and observation reports
  • Working closely with store colleagues to support daily operations
  • Helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and staff

What We're Looking For

  • Valid SIA Licence (essential)
  • Own transport (essential)
  • Full 5-year checkable work history
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, reliable, and confident approach
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good attention to detail and sound judgement
  • Previous retail security experience desirable but not essential
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Additional Information

  • Temporary flexi contract
  • Hours offered between 0–50 per week based on business needs
