Gatehouse Security Officer
About The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group working at Cepac, Manvers, S63 5DJ.
This role is ideal for a professional and reliable security officer who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining site security, controlling access and egress, conducting gatehouse duties, carrying out site patrols, and assisting with emergency situations when required. You will also be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and staff attending the site.
This position involves a combination of gatehouse and patrol duties across the site, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times.
Hours of Work
42 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Sunday
- 06:00 - 18:00
- 18:00 - 06:00
- Days, Nights and Weekends included
Pay Rate
£12.71 per hour
Responsibilities
- Gatehouse security duties.
- Monitoring and controlling site access and egress.
- Welcoming visitors, staff, and contractors to site.
- Conducting regular site patrols.
- Completing security logs and incident reports.
- Monitoring CCTV systems where required.
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
- Ensuring all security procedures are followed.
- Reporting any health and safety concerns.
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.

Person Specification
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous security experience is desirable.
- Able to work days, nights, and weekends.
- Strong observational and reporting skills.
- Professional and reliable attitude.
- Good IT skills.
- Full five-year checkable employment history.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
