Security Officer
Location: Leeds
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 50 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
About The Role
We are looking for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a stable, full-time role with regular weekday hours.
You will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our client. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to security.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Carry out security patrols and routine site inspections.
- Monitor site activity and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Complete accurate incident reports and records.
- Follow site Assignment Instructions and company procedures.
- Identify and report any Health & Safety concerns or security risks.
- Liaise professionally with clients, visitors, contractors, and emergency services.
- Ensure all scheduled check calls and site duties are completed.
- Remain vigilant to potential threats and take appropriate action when required.
- Support the delivery of a high-quality security service that meets client expectations.

You Will Be Expected To
- Complete all mandatory training requirements.
- Participate in additional training as required.
- Maintain and renew your SIA licences within the required timescales.
- Use workplace technology and systems effectively.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
- Previous experience in a security role.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and situational awareness.
Desirable
- Current SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance.
- CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) SIA Licence.
- Experience working within a corporate or customer-facing environment.
