The role
We are looking for an Operational Analyst to join our team and help drive the delivery of our security operations. You will play a key role in keeping operational activities on track, coordinating work across teams and ensuring actions are followed through to completion.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on organisation, accountability and collaboration, and enjoys working with others to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Tracking and following up on security operational activities to ensure they are completed on time
- Collaborating with engineering, delivery and other teams to unblock work and maintain momentum
- Collaborating with service owners to ensure service security hygiene requirements are well understood
- Supporting control owners to fulfil their responsibilities and follow defined processes
- Maintaining visibility of ongoing tasks, identifying risks and delays early and ensuring risk registers remain up to date
- Supporting the coordination of security processes and workflows
- Producing reports on security operations progress for stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve how we track and manage security work

Who are we looking for?
- Strong understanding of security and risk management
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can follow up with people at all levels
- Proactive and persistent, comfortable chasing actions to completion
- Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable with tools like Jira, Confluence or similar workflow tracking platforms
- Analytical mindset, able to spot patterns, gaps and risks in operational data and identify process and control improvements
- Experience in a technology environment, in an operations, project coordinator or analyst role with responsibility for governance, risk, compliance and risk management processes
